Appointment Preparation
Skin
Use a gentle exfoliator the night before your appointment and a hydrating face mask or a generous amount of moisturizer.
Proceed with your regular skin care routine the morning of and arrive makeup free. Avoid any moisturizers with SPF to avoid flashback in photos.
Avoid trying new products a week prior to your appointment to avoid unexpected skin reactions.
If you have booked a makeup trial please prepare a folder containing photos of how you do your own makeup, makeup looks that you desire, and your outfit.
For mobile appointments please arrange a table with a high chair or bar stool (a regular chair will suffice if a higher chair is not available) near an outlet and by a window/natural sunlight for the makeup artist to set up.
Hair
Wash your hair the night before with a clarifying shampoo. Wait until hair is 70% air dried and then blow dry smooth.
If your hair has a hard time holding style apply one or two pumps of any styling mousse to hair while it is still damp and then proceed to blow dry it smooth once it is 70% air dried.
If you have naturally oily hair and cannot avoid washing it the day of-make sure it is 100% dry before you arrive for your appointment. Avoid using conditioner, hair oils, and tying your hair up at all before your appointment as it will retain moisture.
If you are using your pre-owned hair extensions make sure to wash them with a clarifying shampoo 2-3 times and blow dry them completely the night before. Avoid using hair oils, conditioners, and hot tools (with the exception of a blow dryer). These instructions are especially crucial for brand new hair extensions.
If you have booked a hair trial please prepare a folder containing photos of hair styles that you desire, your outfit, and hair accessories. Please note that we do not provide any hair accessories for hair styling. If you already have your hair accessories please bring them with you and we will be happy to apply them for you.
For mobile appointments please arrange an area with a table to set up near an outlet and a regular sized chair.
Attire
We recommend wearing a robe or button-up shirt (preferably white if you are a bride) to your appointment for ease of changing afterward.
